1970's Corner Cabinet Makeover

In 2005 I purchased this 1970's corner cabinet at an estate sale in town. I paid $100 for the piece, a little more that I thought it was worth. I had seen a similar cabinet in a country decorating magazine - where a reader had submitted photos showing her cabinet makeover. I was inspired by the magazine article, and happy to have my own cabinet to work on.

My husband helped with the removal of the original door panals, then I completed the job. I used Rust-Oleum Brands Distressed Antique Black paint for the finish. All told - the project cost $125.

NOTE:  Consigned this piece, Summer 2011.

  1. I cant believe it. My mother passed away in June and I have been going through her things. She had this same corner cabinet. I have been searching the internet to find something out about it and her it is. Exactly the one. Do you know anything about the maker of them or when they were built?

    Thanks
